Remote Criminal Records by Fingerprinting
The documents required for remote fingerprinting background check applications can be found below.
Step 1
Please have your fingerprints taken on paper by a local police department or an authorized agency in your country or locality. (You can download the form at the bottom of this page and give it to your police department or agency).
Send your fingerprints by post to
ACCESS IDentity 4715, avenue des Replats, Local 195, Québec, Québec, Canada, G2J 1B8
Please avoid folding the sheet containing your fingerprints. A fold in the paper could damage the fingerprints and force you to repeat the procedure.
Upon receipt of your fingerprints, we will send you an invoice by e-mail, payable online. The request will be processed as soon as we receive payment, which can be made online. Receipt of the document will take between one and three weeks.
Step 2
Click the “Start the request” link to access the online request form.
Complete the form: Follow the instructions provided on the page and carefully fill out each section of the form. Be sure to provide accurate, complete, and precise information.
Review the information: Before submitting the form, read through all the information to make sure it is correct and complete. Any omission or error could delay the processing of your request or require the procedure to be started over.
Submit the form: Once you have reviewed the information, click the “SEND” button to submit your request.
Monitor your email: After submitting your request, keep an eye on your inbox for a confirmation email. If you do not receive it within the next few minutes, check your “Spam” or “Promotions” folders.
Domestic (Canada) processing costs $90. The cost of international processing is $180, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. The document will be delivered in Canada only.
