Up to twelve factors can be verified for each candidate. Criminal record checks are handled by a police service through the CPIC database and come with an original certificate, your proof of verification if a dispute ever arises. Optional checks include the credit report, driver’s licence validity, employment confirmation with past employers, diploma authenticity, Quebec civil court records, plus social media and online reputation analysis.
Each candidate confirms their identity online through a questionnaire built with Equifax Canada, which removes ID photocopies and unsecured email threads from the process. To launch a request, three pieces of information are enough: the candidate’s name, phone number and email address.
